The West Bench evolved from our West Stools. At first glance straightforward, but on looking deeper, there are lots of subtle details on these stools, hand-made moments that take time and care to notice. The carved chamfers on the leg bottoms, each ever so slightly irregular. Underneath, each leg is set into a slightly countersunk hole - looking at the stools from the bottom, there are sight lines and shadow lines. Our bench is available in 12” or 14” width, and with a standard, upholstered, hand carved or Constellation inlaid seat. Constructed with traditional joinery techniques, our stools are designed for generations.
