Elaine’s Chair is an easy sitting chair with a refined gestural nature, on a mellow, gentle set of rocking legs. Available in our favorite sheep fleeces, or in a variety of leathers and textiles. Our upholstery is set on hand-tied springs, with a latex interior. The West Bench evolved from our West Stools. At first glance straightforward, but on looking deeper, there are lots of subtle details on these stools, hand-made moments that take time and care to notice. The carved chamfers on the leg bottoms, each ever so slightly irregular. Underneath, each leg is set into a slightly countersunk hole - looking at the stools from the bottom, there are sight lines and shadow lines. Our bench is available in 12” or 14” width, and with a standard, hand carved or Constellation inlaid seat. Constructed with traditional joinery techniques, our stools are designed for generations.

The Gathering Chair is a study in geometry and form. The seat is made from hand-woven rush, a traditional material and technique. Our Standard Coffee Tables are available in a variety of woods and styles, with solid turned round legs. We work with wood sawyers who mill unique trees with beautiful character. We can preserve the live edge of the slab, straight-line it, or make it into an oval (or other custom shapes). Our pieces are always tailored and built to order.
